WARM SPRINGS, Ore. (AP) -- Three children are OK after venturing from a campground in the Trout Lake area of the Cascades and spending the night in the woods.

Authorities say the 12-year-old girl and two 7-year-old boys left their family's camp Friday and couldn't find their way back. Searchers found them at noon Saturday, roughly two miles away.

The children were tired and hungry, but otherwise fine.
