McMINNVILLE, Ore. (AP) -- A trial has been scheduled next year for a federal lawsuit against the McMinnville School District filed by the mothers of two girls who claim they were harassed by Patton Middle School boys last year.

Vicki Jensen and Cindy de las Heras filed the lawsuit in April in U.S. District Court in Portland, claiming the school district failed to protect the girls and identified them publicly.
They are seeking at least $125,000 in damages for each girl.
The lawsuit lists three unidentified boys. Last summer, sexual harassment charges were dismissed against two boys, Ryan Cornelison and Cory Mashburn, after their attorneys reached agreements with girls named as victims.
