Cool weather for holiday weekend

If you’re counting on warm weather for the holiday weekend, you’ll have to wait until Monday or venture further than Portland.
Meteorologists predicted unseasonably cool weather.
“We're all in for a big surprise this weekend as much cooler weather drops in from the north,” said KGW Chief Meteorologist Matt Zaffino. “Highs will only climb into the 60s Saturday and Sunday, and the snow level drops to 5,000 feet Sunday.”

Any rain showers will be light and scattered, he said, and temperatures are expected to climb into the low 70s on Monday.
