Police said the commotion woke up a woman who lived there. She was taken out by the suspects to a park in S.E. Portland where she was asked to complete a written statement.
The female victim was not assaulted and was taken back to Beaverton and released.
Akwenuke was not seriously hurt. The two suspects also took a cell phone and some drugs from the apartment before leaving, investigators said.
Police said the crime was revenge or intimidation stemming from a dispute Akwenuke had with his former roommate.
