Oregon City apartment evacuated after possible meth lab found

OREGON CITY -- Police teams evacuated neighbors in an Oregon City apartment Wednesday night after a suspected methamphetamine lab was found.
A landlord for the building at 504 Jackson Street told Clackamas County deputies a tenant was suspected of cooking meth.

Police found what appeared to be the makings of a lab and teams from Multnomah County and Gresham began clearing the scene.
Neighbors were evacuated and police helped them find housing until the apartment could be inspected for contamination.
Deputies interviewed the tenant at the scene, but no arrests have been made.
