Cash flies onto freeway during Clackamas bank robbery chase

CLACKAMAS, Ore. -- A bank robbery suspect was arrested Thursday after a chase with money flying out of the car window on I-205.
Deputies closed down the freeway near Lawnfield Road after the Bank of America on McLoughlin was robbed.
Detective Jim Strovink said the suspect was throwing money from the get away car as he was driving down Highway 99.

The suspect stopped near Janzen St. then tried to flee on foot when a Gladstone officer tased him and took him into custody, police said.
No one was hurt during the chase. Clackamas, Oregon City and Gladstone police all helped take him into custody.
The FBI said the suspect was a 43-year-old man from Clackamas.
