Elderly driver hits pedestrian in Molalla

MOLALLA, Ore. –- An elderly driver hit a pedestrian on a Molalla road Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

The pedestrian was described as conscious and was transported via air ambulance to Oregon Health & Sciences University Hospital, according to Clackamas County Sheriff’s Detective Jim Strovink.
The accident happened about 3:30 p.m. at 36481 South Wilhoit Road.
