Police find deadly stabbing suspect in Salem apartment

SALEM, Ore. -- Detectives arrested a Salem man for a stabbing that turned deadly

On August 12, officers arrived to an apartment at 1969 Hawthorne Ave. NE to find a man bleeding.  Martin Cruz-Bote later died from his injuries, police said.

An autopsy showed Cruz-Bote from a stab wound.

Police later identified 26-year-old Juan Vasquez-Cruz, as a suspect and a search warrant was executed at Juan Vasquez-Cruz's residence.

Around 11 p.m. Tuesday night officers found and arrested Vasquez at a Salem apartment. He will face murder charges.

Homicide detectives are investigating, and are asking anyone with information to come forward
