PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- The superintendent of the Oregon State Hospital is calling for an expanded Oregon State Police investigation following the arrest of a custodian at the hospital's Portland campus.
Police say Francisco Nunez of Milwaukie has been accused of sodomy and official misconduct after a fellow hospital staff member witnessed him having sex with a female patient. Nunez is being held in the Multnomah County Jail on $1.1 million bail.
Hospital superintendent Roy Orr has asked the Oregon State Police to expand its investigation to ensure the safety of all patients on the Portland campus.
