Summer 2007 -- Dani countryman arrives in Oregon from Texas to visit sister Ashley.

July 27 -- Ashley hosts a party in the Balboa apartment complex in Milwaukie. Dani Countryman was set to return home Saturday the 28th. Witnesses said the victim was seen in several apartments in the complex.

July 28 -- Ashley Countryman finds Ashley’s body on the floor of a first floor apartment partially covered with a blanket and calls police.

July 28 -- Deputies arrive to find Countryman around 8 a.m.

July 28 -- Police arrest 24-year-old Alejandro Rivera Gamboa on an probation violation warrant for a drunk driving charge.

July 29 -- Medical examiners rule countryman’s death murder by strangulation

Aug. 6 -- Officers arrest 23-year-old Gilberto Javier Rivera Gamboa at his apartment in the Balboa complex.

Aug. 6 -- Detectives announce both Rivera Gamboa cousins are in custody for aggravated murder.

Aug. 7 -- Suspects scheduled for arraignment on aggravated murder charges.
