The statement reads:

Matt Reimann and his family are grateful and overwhelmed at the outpouring of support they have received during this difficult time.

His wife, Ruth, and daughter, Sarah, remain in critical condition and son, Christopher, is in serious condition at the Oregon Burn Center at Legacy Emanuel Hospital & Health Center in Portland, Ore. However, they are stable and their injuries are not life-threatening. Although they face a long healing process, they will recover and look forward to leading long, active lives.

Matt and Ruth, along with their entire family, mourn the loss of their youngest child, Julia.

Matt's parents, Bud and Sally Reimann, and Ruth's parents, Lee and Eleanor Johnson, and the rest of the family ask that their privacy be respected as they help their loved ones heal and grieve those they have lost.

An account has been set up in the Reimann family name through Wells Fargo Bank and its branches.
