“Teen People” magazine will feature missing Oregon City girls Ashley Pond and Miranda Gaddis.

The issue will hit news stands today. The four-page, color story will focus primarily on Gaddis’ family and her sisters. Maryssa Gaddis, 15, said it has been tough not having her younger sister around.

Pond and Gaddis disappeared earlier this year. Police think the Oregon City classmates were likely kidnapped by the same person.

Gaddis’ mother, Michelle Duffey, said she hopes the national exposure will help remind people the case is still unsolved.

“I’m just hoping that it gets out the word that kids need to be careful, and if anyone does know anything else, say something,” she said.

A similar story appeared on the cover of “People” magazine in early June.
