Police released these sketches of the suspects in the Clackamas robbery and attack.
The woman said it was almost 11 p.m. on July 3rd when she left her place of business, located near SE 132nd Avenue and SE Sunnyside Road in Clackamas, and walked to her parked car.
She said two men approached her and asked for $5. She told them she did not have any money and said that’s when they attacked her.
“She was stuck in the upper back with an unknown object. The victim attempted to run away but was cut off by one of the males. As she attempted to run away from that male, the second male grabbed her, threw her against a tree. As she tried to defend herself, she was taken to the ground,” said detective Jeffrey Green with the Cackamas County Sheriff's Office.
The woman told police that she asked the men if they would release her if she gave them her money. Then, she returned to her vehicle and gave the men her money after one of them hit her in the face with an unknown object, according to Green.
After that, the suspects reportedly fled on foot along SE 132nd Ave.
The victim was treated for her injuries and later helped investigators create a sketch of the suspects.
One of the suspects was described as an 18-year-old Hispanic male, standing about 5'5" tall, weighing around 150 pounds, with short brown hair, acne on his face and last seen wearing a white T-shirt with blue shorts.
The other suspect also appeared to be 18, standing about 5'7" tall, with a slender build, blonde hair, acne on his face and last seen wearing a white, tank top with blue jeans.
The victim said she believes she could identify the men who attacked her in a police lineup.
