Two arrested for 'blatantly obvious prostitution' on Craigslist

A man and a woman were arrested in Milwaukie Wednesday afternoon after the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office received reports of " blatantly obvious prostitution" activity being advertised through the Portland Craigslist Web site.

Randi Jo Goodwin and Jimmy Rodger Varner

Randi Jo Goodwin, 22, and Jimmy Rodger Varner, 40, were arrested on charges of promoting prostitution from the lower level of a two-story Milwaukie home. Police say Varner had prior arrests for controlled substance and child neglect.

Police say a decent, uninvolved family lived upstairs and wasn't aware their downstairs neighbors were running a prostitution business.
