The area was on heavily forested private property and state forest land. A Coast Guard helicopter crew helped police map out the operation.
Police said the owner of the property was not involved with the grow.
On Friday July 20th Drug Task Force agents from Clark and Skamania counties went to the area and destroyed 3,741 plants.
Detectives also found a campsite that appeared to belong to whom ever was tending the plants, and were working to identify a suspect.
Police think the plants were valued at about $750,000.
