05:55 PM PDT on Thursday, July 17, 2008
MILWAUKIE, Ore. -- A man was stabbed in the neck after arguing with a group of teens at a Taco Bell in Milwaukie Wednesday night, police said.
Investigators said a 34-year-old man got into a confrontation with a group of teens at the Taco Bell, located at 16300 SE McLoughlin Boulevard, and some people got shoved. Then, police said two unidentified teenagers pulled out knives.
“One of the armed young males reportedly stabbed the 34-year-old man in the neck, which produced, what is described as a non-life threatening knife wound,” detective Jim Strovink with the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office said.
Police said witnesses helped with a description of the suspect and a 16-year-old Gladstone boy was later arrested for assault.
The stabbing victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to Milwaukie Providence Hospital, where he got stitches for the wound and was released.
