Woman killed in I-5 crash near Wilsonville

One person died after a vehicle rolled on Interstate 5 Wednesday near Wilsonville, according to state transportation officials.

A Lexus traveling north on I-5 hit a semi truck and flipped into southbound traffic.
A Lexus traveling northbound on I-5 toward the Canby exit at milepost 282 struck the side of a semi truck's trailer, hit a construction zone jersey wall and flipped onto the southbound lanes of the Canby-Hubbard off-ramp, Oregon State Police said.
The driver, identified as 53-year-old Linda Marie Trethewy of Keizer, died at the scene and a passenger was injured, according to state troopers.
Freeway and ramp lanes were closed for several hous but all were reopened shortly after noon.
The accident happened in a construction zone where motorists were asked to merge. The Lexus driver was trying to move to the right when she struck the trailer, police said.
