Third victim of 'Jogger Rapist' speaks
05:48 PM PDT on Tuesday, July 8, 2008
Inspired by other victims coming forward, Colleen Kelly told her story to KGW.
The 41-year-old mother of two said she is still haunted by an assault that happened 28 years ago when she was just 13 years old.
Kelly was home alone when Richard Gillmore broke in through a bedroom window. Gillmore beat Kelly so badly, she said her spine is now curved. He also raped her.
Kelly said that night changed her life. She went from being a normal eighth grader who made good grades to dropping out of high school.
She also said she has trouble trusting me.
Gillmore was convicted of raping another 13 year old girl. He later admitted to raping seven others including Kelly. But the statute of limitations had already expired.
Last month, Gillmore told a parole board he deserves to be set free. But Kelly fears he will strike again.

"He's a walking time bomb. I believe he will take it to the next level. He won't leave his victims alive," said Kelly.

A state parole board is still considering whether to grant Gillmore parole. A decision could be made any day.
