Crews work to resuscitate a teen pulled from the water at Blue Lake.
The first call for help came shortly before 6:00 p.m. at a very crowded Blue Lake Park in Fairview.
Police said the teen, who was identified as Shane Joshua Stumpo, became exhausted in the cold water and simply could not keep his head above water.
A woman swimming with teen said she called for help and a park worker dove in and pulled Stumpo to shore.
Rescue crews performed CPR for several minutes before taking the teen to the hospital. Firefighters were not sure how long he was underwater.
