Fireworks, music abound for holiday in Portland & Vancouver

A weekend of fireworks, potential rain showers and plentiful blues music is ahead for many Portland residents opting to stay in town this Fourth of July.
The Waterfront Blues Festival kicked off Thursday afternoon and will feature a huge fireworks show Friday night.

A massive display of fireworks is also in store for the Fourth of July at the Historic Reserve in Vancouver.

Friday’s forecast calls for temperatures in the mid 70s and a chance of rain.
