Body found in Clark Co. identified as former basketball player

A body that was found Monday in an abandoned Clark County house has been identified as a 24-year-old former basketball player, according to The Oregonian.

The body of Chance L. Mosby, who used to play basketball at La Center High School, was found in the 11100 block of NE 87th Avenue, the newspaper reported.

Authorities were waiting for toxicology test results to determine Mosby’s cause of death.

Mosby had a criminal record involving vandalism charges, The Oregonian reported.
