Video poker gamble a bust for robbery suspect

Police said they quickly solved a bank robbery Monday after finding the suspect plunked down at a video poker machine not far away.

Clackamas County and Portland officers were called to the U.S. National Bank on SE 82nd. Avenue in Happy Valley just before 1 p.m.
After getting a suspect description from dispatchers, a patrol unit went into the Harmony Inn, near SE King Road and SE 82nd Ave. where they found the suspect playing video poker.
The man was turned over to the FBI and his name was not released, police said.
