Amanda Knox and her Italian boyfriend.

They also say Amanda Knox helped one man sexually assault the roommate and then tried to make the attack appear to be part of a robbery.

The accusations are in a court document released Thursday that notified the defense that the investigation was over. Indictments may be filed within 20 days against the 20-year-old Seattle student, her boyfriend in Italy, Raffaele Sollecito and a man from the Ivory Coast, Rudy Guede.

All three have been jailed since November in the death of a 21-year-old student from England, Meredith Kercher. Prosecutors say she was stabbed in the neck resisting sexual assault. All three suspects have denied any wrongdoing.

The parents of Knox issued a statement in Seattle saying they expected the prosecutor to recommend charges. They say two media investigations found no evidence linking Knox to the crime and they expect their daughter to be found innocent.
