A Washington man wanted on felony charges crashed his commercial truck on Interstate 84 west of La Grande Friday afternoon.

Oregon State Police

A wanted felon and a DUII driver were arrested after a crash on I-84.

Trevor Colby, 39, was found to be at fault in an accident involving his truck and another commercial vehicle. He was arrested on Washington warrants for Second Degree Assault, Burglary and jumping bail.

As troopers and ODOT workers were evaluating the crash, a westbound vehicle didn’t obey orders to stop and drove through the scene.  When officers were able to stop the vehicle, they noticed both the driver and his passenger were impaired.

Jesse Stuart, 43, of Halfway was arrested for DUII and cited for Failing to Obey a Police Officer, Possession of Less than 1 oz. Of Marijuana and Possession of an Open Container of Alcohol.

Both Colby and Stuart are being held at the Union County Correctional Facility.
