NEWBERG, Ore. – Newberg police were looking for more possible victims of a 28-year-old man arrested in May for sex abuse.
Detectives said Blas Elguezabal had sexual relations with 15 and 17-year old girls after meeting one of them on MySpace and providing them alcohol. Elguezabal allegedly had sex with the girls in a Portland motel room.
Multnomah County
In January Washington County deputies started an investigation after hearing reports he was having sex with a 14-year old Washington County girl.
Washington County deputies said Elguezabal had police contact with suspicious circumstances involving underage girls before his arrest.
Police also think there could be more victims and asked anyone with information to call police.
He was charged with furnishing alcohol, sex abuse, and third-degree rape.
