According to Sgt. Brian Schmautz, 29-year-old Justin Hawkins died at Portland Adventist Hospital Friday while receiving treatment.

Detectives contacted his family and friends, who said Hawkins was attacked at a home in Portland on June 1. Hawkins did not call police or seek medical help until the pain became so intense he went to the hospital Thursday, investigators said.

The Multnomah County Medical Examiner determined that He died of complications from blunt force trauma, police said.

On Sunday, police arrested 34-year-old Chad Dinger and 43-year-old Enzell Bowler on one count of Murder.

Investigators said the crime is more complicated because the attack was not reported.

Detectives asked anyone who may have information in the case to call police.
