Dubbed the “Round Faced Robber” by the FBI, the man has stolen money from banks mainly in the Portland metro area. The most recent hit, however, was Tuesday in Woodburn.

The man earned the nickname the “Round Faced Robber” for his distinctive facial characteristics. He is described as a white male. He stands between 5-feet-5 and 5-feet-8 tall and weighs about 200 pounds.

He has dark hair and dark eyes. He’s believed to be in his mid-30s.

In all but the first robbery, he has worn a wig. He’s worn one wig that was “scruffy” and “out of control,” according to Beth Anne Steele, a spokesperson for the FBI. At other times, he’s worn a wig with straight, shoulder-length hair.

The “Round Faced Robber” has never brandished a weapon during his crimes, but tellers told the FBI they believed he was armed.

The FBI asked citizens to call (503) 224-4181 if they have information on this portly criminal.
