PORT ANGELES, Wash. -- A Gresham man awaiting trial in Washington state on charges of child rape is now accused of trying to find a hit man to kill his teenage accuser.
Aaron Hahn has been charged with solicitation of murder. He remains jailed in Port Angeles and his bail has been increased to $1 million.
A now-17-year-old girl told authorities she met Hahn online when she was 14 and he was about 25. She said she began a three-year dating relationship, which she broke off earlier this year.
She contacted police when Hahn allegedly threatened her.
Hahn was arrested in March and charged with third-degree rape, sexual exploitation of a minor, possession of child pornography and stalking.
According to court documents, Hahn asked a fellow inmate to help him find someone to kill the girl before his June 9th trial.
