Several people were injured Saturday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash on Highway 26 near Hillsboro.
Oregon State Police Recruit Trooper Michael Vanrenterghem said driver Kao Saelee, 38, of Portland, rear-ended a car with his pickup truck, sending the car spinning into the ditch.
Two of Saelee's children, who were passengers in his truck, were transported to Legacy Emanuel Hospital. Molley Chao, 16, was flown in a LifeFlight helicopter with serious injuries. Jason Lee, 12, was transported by ambulance and police said his injuries were not life-threatening.
Sheldon Nalos, 31, of Vancouver, was driving the car that went into the ditch. The three passengers in the car were transported by ambulance to St. Vincent's Hospital with minor injuries.
The crash happened just before 7 p.m. and Eastbound Highway 26 was closed for about one hour.
