SKAMANIA, Wash. -- Crews planned to continue looking Wednesday for a man feared drowned after falling into the Wind River near Shipherd Falls, a popular fishing area near Carson, Washington.
His family was on the scene to help searchers.
“Still believing he’s going to come home," his mother Jan Gallenger said. "Still praying, hoping. I can’t let it go yet.”

Skamania County dispatchers received a 9-1-1 call Monday afternoon reporting the accident.
Dustin Fergusen, 27, was last seen fishing downstream of the falls with friends, in a very rapid moving section of the river when authorities said he jumped in.
Fergusen was able to pull himself onto a nearby rock but then, for some reason, deputies say he jumped back in and was swept away.
Crews were searching the banks of the river for any sign of Fergusen.
Skamania County deputies said the river was running very high in the search area.
