A Boring woman is dead from injuries she suffered in a two-vehicle crash
yesterday.
Witnesses say 88-year-old Daisy Bolster failed to stop at a stop sign as
she crossed U-S 26 west of Sandy. A sport utility vehicle tried to evade
her, but crashed into the left front quarter panel of Bolster's car.
Bolster was taken to Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland, where she died
of her injuries.
The other driver, 35-year-old Jerry Allen Tate Junior, was treated for
minor injuries at the scene.
