Seven arrested in riot after party in NE Portland
09:56 AM PDT on Monday, May 12, 2008
Portland Police officers were called to the scene of a riot in the streets after a party in N.E. Portland got out of control.
The first calls came in around 1 a.m. Sunday morning after the party at the home at N.E. 122nd and N.E. Whitaker Way ended and partygoers moved into the street.
Sergeant Brian Schmautz said that because many of the people were hostile and the party was very large, responding officers called for help from all other available officers in the area.
About 70 officers total were working at the time that dispatchers called for backup at the riot.
Officers said the fight eventually broke up and seven people were arrested.
20-year-old Ramon Dimas-Ambriz was charged with rioting, disorderly conduct and fourth degree attempted assault.
22-year-old Alonzo Dupree was charged with rioting, disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer.
18-year-old Dominique Durisko-Caoile was charged with disorderly conduct, interfering with a police officer and resisting arrest.
20-year-old Fred Marlow was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with a police officer.

17-year-old Sheqouya Payton-Simmons was charged with rioting, disorderly conduct, interfering with a police officer and resisting arrest.
