MILWAUKIE, Ore. -- A Milwaukie man accused of intentionally running over and killing his wife last year was found guilty on Friday, authorities said.
Robert Henderson, 66, was found guilty of first degree murder. Sentencing was scheduled for May 23.
His wife, Eileen Henderson, 52, was tending flowers in front of her house at the time and several witnesses told police they saw Robert slam his white Lincoln Navigator into her.

Robert was taken to the hospital directly following Eileen's death, after he reportedly collapsed at the scene. But he was released from the hospital that day and then taken to the Clackamas County Jail on murder charges.
Police said that based on evidence from the scene and statements from the witnesses, they believe Henderson killed his wife on purpose.
The couple had been separated and police say there was a two–year history of non-physical domestic violence.

NewsChannel 8’s search of court records also showed that Robert Henderson had a history of violence.
In 2004, he was convicted of misdemeanor assault and sentenced to ten days behind bars.
Neighbor Chuck Bates said Henderson got himself in trouble for striking a neighborhood boy who spit on the suspect’s ATV vehicle.
Henderson is known for riding the ATV around the neighborhood as he monitored his tenants and properties nearby.
Records show Henderson was ordered into anger management after that.
But police say they were called to the couple's house the next two years on domestic violence complaints.
