Three sea lions that were trapped along the Columbia River in late April were relocated to SeaWorld in Orlando over the weekend.

The sea lions are part of a trapping and relocation program adopted by State officials in Washington, Oregon and Idaho this spring after several failed attempts at hazing to scare them from the area.

The sea lions became an increasing problem after they swam up river and began to feed on endangered salmon and steelhead trout in the Columbia River.

SeaWorld Orlando said they planned to quarantine the three newest additions for 30 days before introducing them to their sea lion population at the park.
