SALEM, Ore. -- The FBI asked for help finding a woman who robbed a Salem bank Thursday morning.

Police said she went into the Wells Fargo Bank on Commercial Street SE in Salem just after 9 a.m. The woman demanded cash from a teller and said she had a weapon, according to witnesses.

The suspect was wearing heavy make-up, including a "great deal" of blush and lipstick smeared all over her face, the FBI said. She fled on foot.

The suspect was described as a white woman in her early 20’s, between 5-foot-1 and 5-foot-2, weighing 150 pounds. She had dark brown hair and was wearing dark oval glasses, a dark black or brown Nike hat, dark over-sized jacket, brown leather gloves, white tennis shoes.

Anyone with information was asked to call police or the FBI.
