Trailer flip leads to rear-end crash on I-5

VANCOUVER -- Two drivers were taken to the hospital after a truck and trailer rolled over on Interstate 5 near La Center Thursday, leading to a second crash in the backup.
Washington State Police said 65-year-old Rudolf Miksche was moving to the center lane to pass the semi when the travel trailer Miksche was pulling started to spin. Police said Miksche overcorrected and lost control causing the pickup and travel trailer to roll.

Miksche and his passenger, 75-year-old Susanne Figley, suffered head injuries and were taken to the hospital.
The crash remains under investigation.
That crash also caused a backup of about a five miles and troopers said there was a rear-end collision crash in that resulting traffic.
Two people in that crash had minor injuries and one driver received a speeding ticket.
