Group addresses homosexual policy at George Fox

George Fox University hosted a gathering on Thursday with a group representing gays, lesbians, and bi-sexuals to speak about a school sex policy.
The Christian college in Newberg policy is against homosexuality.
The group that visited is called Soul-Force. It’s touring 32 Christian colleges throughout the nation to promote more dialogue and acceptance of people with different sexual orientations. The group calls its tour the Equality Ride.
George Fox University welcomed them, unlike other colleges they have visited. Administrators said it was important for students to hear other viewpoints, even though its student handbook lists homosexuality as unacceptable.
“We clearly disagree on this particular issue, but we’re having a good day of dialogue, characterized by civility, kindness, and respect,” said Brad Lau, Vice President of George Fox University.
There were lively discussions, but all were very respectful.
Members of the group have been arrested at several stops along the tour, including Brigham Young University in Provo Utah.
