Investigators said two men knocked on the door of an apartment at 11556 SE Fuller Road at about 6:30 a.m. and pushed their way inside after a man opened the door. They said one of the suspects hit the man with the butt of his pistol and shots were fired, but no one was injured.

“Detectives say that this morning's residential robbery was a drug rip-off,” said deputy Angela Brandenburg, a spokesperson for the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office. "The two white men made off with marijuana from the apartment after forcing their way into the apartment occupied by a husband and wife."

Officers searched the area for any sign of the armed suspects, but found nothing Wednesday morning.

Brandenburg said one of the men was wearing a black beanie with a black hooded sweatshirt and may have a gun. She said he is 19 years old, stands about 5'8” tall and weighs about 150 pounds.

The other suspect was described as a man in his 20s, standing about 5'11” tall and weighing about 180 pounds. Brandenburg said he had a shaved head, a tattoo on his right forearm, and was wearing dark clothing.

Anyone with information that could help in the investigation is asked to call the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office at 503.655.8218.
