ASHFORD, Wash. (AP) -- Searchers Wednesday found the body of a 45-year-old Mukilteo man missing in Mount Rainier National Park.

Officials say the body of David Ossman was found about a mile-and-a-half from the Kautz Creek trailhead.

Park spokeswoman Lee Taylor says a ranger noticed that a vehicle had been parked all day Monday at a trailhead in the Kautz Creek area, and a check of the license plate showed the owner had been reported missing.

Four two-person teams and a bloodhound looked for signs in the area Tuesday.

Family members said he was probably not dressed for an overnight stay in the woods.
