A grand jury has indicted a former Columbia County teacher’s aide accused of sexually abusing a student, authorities said Thursday.

In addition to sex abuse, Jan Elizabeth Gleaves was charged with furnishing alcohol to a minor, unlawful delivery of marijuana to a minor, contributing to the sexual delinquency of a minor, and attempted tampering with a witness.

The delivery of marijuana to a minor is a felony. The case was scheduled for arraignment on Monday, March 31st.
