According to the Longview Daily News report, police pulled the couple over on Monday and noticed the baby and a three-year-old girl inside the car were not wearing safety restraints.
Then, the article said, police searched the car, driven by Ashley Plemmons, 20, and found 23.2 grams of meth in a pocket of the diaper bag sitting on the floor in front of passenger, Jorge Pintilla Maldonado Arellano, 22.
Police said the diaper bag also contained a set of scales and baby supplies.
The report said that police also found 6.2 grams of meth in a plastic bag stuffed between the seats next to Plemmons.
Both Plemmons and Maldonado were arrested on charges including possession of methamphetamine, reckless endangerment with a controlled substance, and use of drug paraphernalia.
