Head-on collision injures teens in Canby

CANBY--A head-on crash injured two teens, trapping one inside her car. Canby Fire responded to the call around 10:30 a.m. near the intersection of South Carus Road and Penman Road in rural Canby.

One teen was able to crawl from her passenger seat and out of the vehicle, but the 17-year-old driver was still trapped and had to be cut out of the car.
Both teens were taken to OHSU by Lifeflight with non-life-threatening injuries. Names will not be released due to health privacy laws.
Carus Road was closed for over an hour while crews worked to clear the scene. Clackamas County Sheriffs are investigating the crash.
