Wendy's employee attacked by robbery suspect in McMinnville

MCMINNVILLE, Ore. -- A knife-wielding man attacked a fast food employee before robbing the restaurant early Monday morning in McMinnville, police said.
It happened just after midnight at the Wendy’s on NE Hwy 99W when the man went into the closed restaurant through a side door. Investigators said he punched and kicked one employee before finding the manager who was counting money.

Police said he threatened the woman with a knife before taking the cash. He was last seen running across the highway.
He was described as white or possibly Hispanic man, 5'10", with a medium build and wearing dark blue or black hooded sweatshirt and pants, sunglasses, a dark blue bandana across his face and sunglasses.
Anyone with information was asked to call police.
