Around 1 p.m. on Friday deputies contacted 66-year-old Woodrow A. Crook of Eddyville at his residence on Wakefield Road.

Investigators determined that during an argument with two other family members, Crook retrieved a .22 caliber rifle from his home and shot one time towards the two who were standing on the roadway in front of the home.

Neither of the family members was injured.

Crook was taken into custody and charged with two counts of menacing and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon.
