Tualatin SWAT situation resolved peacefully

TUALATIN -- SWAT officers surrounded a home in Tualatin Friday but the standoff ended peacefully with the suspect taken into custody.
Officers arrived at the home on SW Siuslaw Lane where they found a woman they think had been assaulted. She was taken to OHSU.
Police made contact with a 55-year-old man who lived in a trailer at the property. He eventually surrendered peacefully to police.
Officials for a time alerted nearby Tualatin and Byrom elementary schools and Tualatin High. The lockout was lifted at about 3 p.m.
