Worker crushed to death at NE Portland construction site

A worker at a construction sit was killed Monday after he was pinned between a truck and a building in Northeast Portland.

According to Portland Fire Lieutenant Allen Oswalt, it happened at Canron Construction around 1:45 when the 55-year-old employee was pinned to an outbuilding by a semi cab.
Rescue crews tried to free the man using heavy equipment, but he was dead at the scene, Oswalt said.
OSHA is investigating.
The man’s identity was not released.
