Ore. troopers find 66 pounds of cocaine

SALEM, Ore. -- State police said Monday they confiscated 31 kilos, about 66 pounds, of cocaine concealed in a sports utility vehicle during a traffic stop on Interstate-5 near Salem.

Oregon State Police shared this photo of the cocaine that was seized.
Police have released few details of the Saturday action, citing an ongoing investigation.
The report said an officer stopped the vehicle with one occupant for speed and lane change violations.
Police say the 2005 Nissan Armada had out of state plates. The identity of the 26-year-old suspect has not been released. He is charged with multiple felony drug violations. Police put an approximate value of $600,000 on the seizure.
