American Gladiators approached the former Blazer dancer to come try out as a contestant. And the 32-year-old mother of two was sensational in her debut.

Monica is one of 26 contestants vying for $100,000 in prize money.

Poll: What do you think of the new American Gladiators TV show?

"I was so excited, I love American Gladiators, grew up with it, one of those things I fantasized as a child ‘gosh, wouldn't that be amazing’," she said.

She's sworn to secrecy and can't say how far she made it, but said the experience is one she'll cherish forever.

“It’s all about the athletics and the sportsmanship and that's what I loved about it. It was truly what it says it is, you go out and fight for your life and you win or you lose.”
