'Predatory' sex offender arrested on new charges

LINN COUNTY, Ore. - A 58-year-old man faces sex abuse charges in Linn County, and it’s not the first time he’s been accused.

Robert Allen Billings was arrested on Jan. 11 on sex abuse charges
Wednesday, Linn County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Robert Allen Billings on four counts of first-degree sex abuse. A family told police that Billings had inappropriately touched their young daughter. Billings was described by investigators as a family acquaintance.
Billings has two previous convictions for Sex Abuse 1, sheriff’s deputies said. He is registered with the Oregon State Police as a “predatory” sex offender.
Billings was booked into the Linn County jail, with bail set at $200,000.
