Offender sentenced for Craigslist teen sex charges

A Washington County man who advertised on Craigslist for young models and had sex with a teenage girl was found guilty of sex abuse.

Douglas French, 36 pleaded not guilty to felony sex abuse and other charges in August. But on Wednesday a judge found him guilty of using a child in a sexual display and sex abuse. He was sentenced to 15 years on three counts.
Police said French posted an advertisement for young models on the Web site then had sex with a 17-year-old girl who responded.
Man found with Molalla teen sentenced to jail
Five counts were dismissed, including a charge he gave the girl cocaine.
French was arrested in Montana in 2004 with a Molalla teen who had been missing for months.
